Jo-Ann Marie Venuti, loving daughter of the late Ann (Bosak) and Domenic Venuti, was a lifelong resident of Abington.  She died on August 27 at the age of 66.  She graduated from Abington High School in 1968 and attended St. Elizabeth's in Boston for nursing and graduated from Bridgewater State University, she joined Liberty Mutual Insurance in 1974.  She had a long and fruitful career over her 38 years before retiring in 2012.  Jo-Ann was also a devout and active parishioner of St. Bridget's Church in Abington and a charitable donor to St. Vincent DePaul's.  She enjoyed spending time and dining with her friends.  Jo-Ann will be remembered as a faithful, compassionate, charitable, and generous person who had so many wonderful friends that were like family to her.  She will be deeply missed.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Saturday September 3 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Friday 5 to 8pm.
