Joan L. Fahey of Brockton, September 24, 2020, age 90, born in South Boston March 11, 1930, loving wife of the late Harold G. Fahey; Loving mother of Steven Gale and wife Esther of PA, Roberta Fahey of Brockton, and Jean Roberts and husband Dean of West Bridgewater; Beloved grandmother of Cody Roberts, Tyler Roberts, and the late Alicia J. Fahey; Loving daughter of the late Louise M. Mealey and the late Coleman Joseph Mealy-O'Malley; Loving sister of the late Chick Mealey and the late Sylvia Collins.
Joan was a Gold Star Widow. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed singing, painting, poetry, outdoor gardening, and loved spending time at the beach in South Boston.
Joan will be sorely missed. Her famous parting words, "Bye for Now" never goodbye; that was too final.
Till we meet again on the other side with our Lord, family members, and friends by our side all re-united.
A funeral service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Monday September 28 at 10:30am. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
