Joanne F. MacNeill, 82, of Rockland, formerly of Abington, passed away on Feb 13th, surrounded by her loving family.  Joanne is survived by her sister, Norma J. Clark and her Sister-in-law Patricia MacNeill, both of Abington, Many nieces, nephews and cousins and their families.  She was predeceased by her siblings Marion B., Frederick "Teddy" and James MacNeill.

Joanne was administrative staff for several human service agencies; most recently was the Outreach Coordinator for the West Bridgewater Council on Aging.

She was an avid reader, loved Scrapbooking, hosting family Holidays at her home and going on vacation with her family. She was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Abington for over 30 years.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams St., Abington Thursday February 19 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at the United Church of Christ, Abington Friday at 11am. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Church of Christ in Abington, or in honor of Joanne, take a friend to lunch.
