John R. Christie Jr. of Abington, June 27, age 79, Loving husband of Joyce A. Christie of Abington; Loving father of Jean Ketterle, Cheryl Erickson, and Debra Christie all of Abington, and Mary Christie-DeFonzo of Holbrook; Loving brother of Roberta Wedge of Abington, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Christie served in the Army and worked for UPS for 40 years. A Funeral Service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Saturday June 29 at 11am. Visitation prior to service Saturday 10am to 11am. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
