John Giniewicz 91 of Sandwich, formerly of Pembroke and Abington passed peacefully on July 9 after a period of declining health. John was a proud Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Airforce as an Instructor.  Upon returning to civilian life John made his career as a television repairman and an appliance salesman in Brockton, Pembroke and Cape Cod. John is predeceased by his wife Cindy (McNeil) of Sandwich and two children Prof.Jayne Giniewicz of Chicopee and Stephen Giniewicz of New Hampshire. John is survived by grandson James Giniewicz and two great grandchildren of Florida.

A graveside service will be held in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland, Thursday July 15 at noon.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
