John F. McClay of Abington passed away on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015.    John overcame the obstacles life threw his way.  He always enjoyed talking to people, hanging out at Nantasket Beach and watching the Red Sox.   John is survived by his brother, Mark McClay  and sister-in-law, Cathy McClay of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his sisters, Patty McClay of Brockton, MA and Michelle McClay Wilson of Sausalito, CA and his brother-in-law, Mike Wilson.  John also has 3 nephews Brett, Brian and Jack McClay.

A mass will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 9am in St. Bridget's Church in Abington, to celebrate John's life.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's name to the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts.  Donations can be sent to BIA-MA at 30 Lyman Street, Suite 10, Westborough, MA  01581 or online at:  http://www.biama.org/donate.html.
