Obituary

Wrentham, MA – Joseph "Joe" Charles Agnello, age 57, passed away on Monday March 17th surrounded by his loving family after a courageous and lengthy battle with metastasized renal cell carcinoma. Born in Lewiston, NY, Joe graduated from Lewiston-Porter High School and continued on to receive his Bachelor's of Arts Degree in 1980 from Ithaca College where he also played football for 4 years. The beloved husband and best friend of Kathryn (Mielach) for nearly 25 years, Joe is the son of the late Joseph Aloysius Agnello and Josephine (Wiklacz) Agnello.  He was the dedicated and proud father to Joseph, Michael and Grace who will carry his lasting memory in their hearts.  He leaves behind his sister, Susan (Agnello) Eberwein and aunt, Jane (Wiklacz) Lewandrowski.  He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws, John and Geraldine Mielach, Christine and David Murdoch, Mary Pat Forenza, Stephen and Debi Mielach, John and Samantha Mielach and Peter Mielach. His many adoring nieces and nephews will recall with a smile the wonderful memories of their Uncle Joe. Joe was the managing partner of Complete Payroll Solutions since 2003.  He had the honor and good fortune to work side-by-side for 20 years with his friend and partner, John Pettengill. A life well lived, Joe cherished his friendships from his hometown, Ithaca College and from Wrentham.  His family and friends knew him as a passionate sports fan and he drew enormous pride in watching his sons play football, baseball and lacrosse.  His daughter provided him with great joy in experiencing her dance performances.  He loved golf, music, but most importantly his family and friends were held closest to his heart. A Celebration of Life Memorial mass will be held on Saturday March 22nd at 11am at The Parish of St. Mary, Wrentham.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop Feehan High School, Attleboro in memory of Joseph C Agnello or the Marty Lyons Make-a-Wish Foundation, 354 Veterans Memorial Highway, Ste. 9, Commack, NY  11725, http://www.martylyonsfoundation.org/ways-to-help.
