Joseph Francis Croak Jr. , passed August 17, 2023 from lung cancer at the age of 90. Joseph was born April 12, 1933 in Boston, MA to Catherine Jones and Joseph Croak.  He married Virginia Ann Berube on April 8, 1961.  They were happily married for 62 years. Loving father of Diana Gallant and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater, MA, their two daughters Melissa and Jennifer, Mary Mullaney of Leesburg, FL, her two daughters Candace and Amanda, Laura Adie of Norton, MA, her daughter Stephanie and her husband Hughens, Karen Daly of Rockland, MA and her husband Timothy, their two daughters Jessica and her husband Matthew and Emma, Julie Smith of Rockland, MA, her sons Justin and Christian.  Also, survived by ten great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his two siblings Elizabeth Turell of Weymouth and Paul Croak Sr. of Billerica.

Joseph drafted to the army on his 20th birthday and discharged in April 1955. Before he was drafted into the army, he was a cabinet maker for Vaga Music Company. He worked for many years as a finish carpenter around the towns of Norwell, Hingham and Scituate. Joseph enjoyed trips to Aruba. He was a loving a grandfather and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Visitation will held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Monday August 21 from 4pm to 7pm. A funral mass will be held in Holy Family Church, Rockland on Tuesday August 22 at 9am. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
