In retirement, Joe enjoyed cheering on local sports teams, sharing lively discussions with his son and grandson, and exploring local restaurants with family and friends.

Joe is remembered fondly by his siblings: William Holleran and his wife Hope of Fort Myers, FL; Paul Holleran and his wife Dianne of Coconut Creek, FL; David Holleran and his wife Donna of Otis Orchards, WA; and Irene Holleran of Sarasota, FL. He was a proud uncle to Kristin Holleran of Cloverdale, OR, and Kelly Piper and her husband Mikkel of Otis Orchards, WA, and a great-uncle to Landon and Sutton Piper.
Joe's kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed.
