Joseph T. Nickley Sr. of Abington died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family May 30, 2011, age 79, Loving husband of 57 years to Marilyn (Kelly) Nickley of Abington; Loving father of Janet Madigan and husband Pat, Joe Jr. and wife Rhonda, John and wife Jeanne all of Abington, Michael and wife Judy of Norwood, Geraldine Capachione and husband Stephen of Whitman, and Richard and wife Lynne of Abington; Proud papa of 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Nickley worked for the US government for over 40 years and was very active with St. Bridget Parish and Cardinal Spellman High School. Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adam Street, Abington Friday June 3 at 10am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 11am. Visitation Thursday 4 to 8pm.
