Joyce Karen (Kostek) Kelley, of Hingham, MA (formerly of Hobe Sound, FL), aged 79, passed away on September 10, 2022.  She was the daughter of Michael C. and Felicia (Lapinski) Kostek of Greenfield, MA.  She was a lover of all fine things – art, music, theater, opera, and travel.  Although not an athlete herself, she was a sports enthusiast, especially tennis and the Olympics.  She shared her passion for English language and literature as a teacher at Martin County and South Fork High Schools until her retirement.  She earned her Bachelor's degree at University of Massachusetts – Amherst and her master's degree at North Adam's State College.

Survivors include: her brother Michael C. Kostek, II and sister-in-law Marta Serra-Jovenich of Palm City, FL; her son, Neal LaPierre and daughter-in-law, Elaine LaPierre of Tarpon Springs, FL; her daughter, Danielle LaPierre of Hingham, MA; two grandchildren, Julia LaPierre of Tallahassee, FL and Mark LaPierre of Sarasota, FL; and her nephew, Michael C. Kostek, III of San Marcos, TX.

A Mass will be October 14 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 84 K Street, Turners Falls, MA.
