Kathryn Ann Nemet, longtime resident Weymouth, passed away at South Shore Hospital on October 12, at the age of 60. Kathryn was born in Boston to the late David and Kathryn Nemet. Kathryn was the loving sibling, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend to many. Kathryn leaves behind her siblings Barbara, Irene, and Carol as well as her brother in laws Joe, Pat, and Paul. She was also the loving aunt to several nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.

Kathryn graduated from Weymouth high school and then went on to receive a degree in nursing from Curry College. Kathryn was a registered nurse for 25 years specializing in elder care; where she was a compassionate person and was always there to help anyone that was in need. She was  a very skillful craft person and enjoyed sewing and making costumes for her family and friends throughout the years. She really enjoyed cooking, gardening, history, musicals and theater.

A funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Conception 1203 Commercial Street East Weymouth, MA on Monday November 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
