Kenneth R. "Skip" Coulsey, 72, of Hanson, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 17, 2014. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Larson) Coulsey. Attending Weymouth schools, he was a graduate of Weymouth High School. Prior to retirement, Skip was a machinist. He worked for both Hendries and the Gillette Co., each for more than 20 years. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and had a passion for working on cars. A leather craftsman, Skip made pocketbooks and belts. He enjoyed history and was a military buff. Beloved husband of Mary A. (Bryan) for 23 years. Devoted father of Kenneth, Jr. of NH, James of ME and Jon of NC, Sandra Thayer of Whitman, Tammy Rothwell of Weymouth and Sharon Leone of Whitman. Brother of Robert of PA, Vicki DeToma of MI and the late Gerald Coulsey. Grandfather of Courtney, Jeff, Jon and Cameron. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation on Monday, 6-8 p.m. in the Quealy Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
