Lawrence B. Dunbar (59) of Agawam passed away peacefully on October 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Roxbury, Lawrence met the love of his life, his wife, Jeanette (Zupkofska) Dunbar before moving to Western MA in 1996. Lawrence's greatest love was being with family and close friends. He enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards,(winning card games and teasing us all about his inability to lose) or just sitting around talking. Lawrence especially loved being on the sidelines or in the bleachers cheering on his favorite athlete, his daughter Jazmin. Lawrence predeceased by his mother Wilhelmina Dunbar and his father Clarence Bruton. Lawrence leaves behind his devoted wife, best friend and life partner, Jeanette (Zupkofska) Dunbar who have spent the last 32 years together and his beautiful daughter, Jazmin Dunbar. Lawrence also leaves behind his sons, Darnell, Cobie and Jordan, his siblings: Juanita, Sheila, David and Shawn along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. Friends and family will be welcome to celebrate Lawrence's life on Sunday, October 30th from 4-7pm at Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington. Interment will be private.
