Lena M. Richards (Casey) of Whitman passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Manor at the age of 100.  Lena was born February 7, 1919 and grew up in Abington with her parents Joseph and Mary Casey.  Lena was the wife of the late Robert L. (Rocky) Richards and mother of the late Thomas R. Richards.   Lena was a very active and outgoing woman.  She enjoyed bingo, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was truly a wonderful grandmother and was especially involved with the lives of Evan and Tyler Richards whom she lived with for a number of years.  Nana will be sadly missed.

Lena is survived by her daughter Mary E. Showalter of Virginia and Robert L. Richards of North Attleboro, her grandchildren Kimberly Atwood, Jeffrey Showalter and Mattew Showalter of Virginia, Christopher Richards of Middleborough.  Evan and Tyler Richards of Whitman, her daughter-in-law Kathy Richards, and two great grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler Atwood of Virginia.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Tuesday June 18 from 10am to 11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am. Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland.
