Obituary

Leslie "Red" Greenleaf lifetime resident of Abington, May 18, age 89, loving husband of 57 years to the late Patricia (Nagle) Greenleaf; Loving father of Peggy Schnyer of Halifax and Thomas Greenleaf of Abington; Loving brother of Dorothy Linn of Bridgewater and the late Hazel Carlson and Charles Greenleaf. Loving grandfather of Maureen McCarthy and husband James, Matthew Schnyer, and Megan Roberts and husband Joseph; Loving great grandfather of Ryan and Mallory McCarthy, Molly, Emma, and Joseph Roberts. Red was a retired salesman from Cushman Bakery, Hathway Bakery, and Bachman Snack. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. Red was a charter member of the Abington K of C, Abington Legion and VFW, St. Bridget Church, active with Little League and Midget football. He spent over 55 years volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul and Food Pantry, and was past president and received the Top Hat Award. Funeral from the Quealy & son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Wednesday May 22 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Tuesday 4 to 8pm. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. In lieu of flowers to: St. Vincent De Paul, 455 Plymouth St., Abington Ma 02351.
