Linda F. Walsh (McLaughlin), 72, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 5, 2025.

Born and raised in Dorchester, Linda was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice (Creighton) McLaughlin.

After graduating from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing in 1982, Linda began her career. Throughout her forty-years as a nurse, Linda held positions at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities. She was known for her ability to develop trusting relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, always able to put others at ease and provide comfort under difficult circumstances.

Linda's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She found special joy in family activities and creating lasting memories. She had a keen eye for interior design and was a  jack-of-all trades around the house, able to build and repair almost anything, all with an iced coffee in hand and dogs by her side.

Linda leaves behind her husband of thirty-nine years, Jack of Weymouth, daughter Erin of Raynham, son Brian and his wife Morghan of Quantico, VA, and grandson Cameron. She is also survived by her cherished sister, Julie Lavanchy of Pembroke, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Lauren McLaughlin, brother Kevin McLaughlin, and sister Janis McLaughlin-Kelley.

After a battle with cancer, Linda faced her final days with courage, grace, and the same warmth she had shown others all her life. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home on Friday January 16, 2026 from 11 AM to 12 PM. Followed by a funeral home service at 12 PM.
