Linda J.
Preziosi
July 3, 1968 – June 15, 2023
Linda J. Preziosi, 54 of Quincy passed away peacefully on June 15 surrounded by family. Loving mother of Paul Preziosi and Jason Preziosi Madden. Beloved sister to Kerri Carey Lukeman and her husband Mike of Rockland, Jessica Carey-McCallum and her husband CJ of Weymouth, Thomas Carey and his wife Erin of Braintree, Michael Carey and his wife Maria of Texas, and Billy Carey and his wife Tatiana of Pembroke. Amazing Aunt to Kathleen (Kat) Carey, Tommy (Little T) Carey, Tyson Carey and Tatum Carey. Daughter of the late Nanci Carey and stepdaughter of the late Thomas B. Carey.
Linda was a fiercely proud mother, sister, and friend her entire life. After her mother passed she became the matriarch of the family helping raise her own boys as well as her 3 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. Linda's work ethic was unmatched. On top of her family responsibilities, Linda held demanding work positions at Reebok, Sentient Jet, South Shore Hospital, Skyeburst Wealth Management, etc. Her favorite work experiences were working her butt off as a bartender and waitress at a handful of places including Strawberry Fair, Brian's Place, Hearth and Kettle, Hancock Tavern, and The Post.
Linda loved spending time with her family and, bottom line, was the heartbeat of a big, chaotic, fun, and crazy family. Linda's love, kindness, unique sense of humor, and elite organizational skills will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Monday June 19 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral service and interment at Mt. Vernon Cemetery will be private.
