Louis G.
Citrone
June 22, 1967 – May 21, 2025
Louis G. Citrone of Rockland, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025, after a brief illness. Known to many as Lou, he was a private man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
A true homebody at heart, Lou was happiest cruising around town in his Cadillac with R&B music turned up loud, casting a line while fishing, or spending cherished time with his beloved granddaughter, Kailyn. Though he preferred to stay out of the spotlight, his presence was unmistakable — full of wit, charm, and unforgettable energy. There was never a dull moment when Lou was around, and those moments will now live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Lou is survived by his devoted daughter Samantha Lennard and her husband Tez, his cherished granddaughter Kailyn, his brother David Citrone and fiancée Sandra Dixon, his sister Peggy Dean and her husband Scott, as well as many nieces and nephews who brought him great joy.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Citrone; his sister, Mary Theresa; and his brothers, Joey and Tommy.
Though Lou lived life on his own terms, his impact reached further than words can express. His memory will be deeply held and dearly missed — even by those who may not have expected to feel his absence.
A Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street on Wednesday May 28th from 5 PM to 7 PM. Followed by a funeral home service at 7 PM. Burial will be private at a later date.
