Margaret "Peggy" McGillvray Greene, 84, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side on January 28th. She adored spending time with her family. She lived and loved to laugh and enjoyed life's precious moments. The family has many cherished memories that will warm their hearts forever.

Peggy was the daughter of the late John and Julia McGillvray, beloved wife of the late George Greene, devoted mother of Patricia and Ronald Woodworth of Bridgewater, Margaret Adams and Jay Joyce of Marshfield, Donna and Mike Generous of Whitman, John and Jean Greene of Middleburg, FL, Mary and CP Smith of Madison, NH, Ginger and Jeff Wanders of Punta Gorda, FL, and the late Paul Greene and infant son, Jimmy. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Peggy worked at the Justin Hearthside of Hanover, the Brockton School of Nursing and the Rockland Council on Aging for many years.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Saturday February 4 at 8am, followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
