Maria D'Aparecida Goncalves was called home to the Lord after a long and valiant battle with cancer.

Maria was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and came to America in 1991. She has called the South Shore her home ever since. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, gardening, and cooking. Maria will be remembered as a woman devoted to her faith and family.

Maria leaves behind her beloved husband Wilson, children Adriane Ferreira, Andreia Oliveira,  Anderson Goncalves, grandchildren Aliane, Gabrielle, Gabriel, Cristian, and Gustavo, and numerous brothers, sisters, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

May her memory be eternal!

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Quealy and Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington,MA on Sunday June 18 from 1 pm to 5 pm. A Funeral will be held on Monday June 19th at 10AM at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home followed by interment  at 10:30 AM at Mt. Vernon Cemetery Abington.
