Mariano J. DiBlasi of Braintree formerly of the West End, Boston, died December 2, 2012, age 84, Loving husband of the late Josephine C. (Marotta) DiBlasi; Loving father of Philip DiBlasi of Scituate, Joanne Almon of Fla., Carol Hanson of Pembroke, and the late James DiBlasi; Loving brother of Marie McCoy and Anna Arena both of Holbrook; Also, survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. DiBlasi worked for Stop & Shop for 30 years and the Boston Globe for 10 years. Funeral from the Quealy & son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday December 6 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass in St. Francis of Assisi, Braintree 10:30am. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 8pm at funeral home. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
