Mark Joseph Lydon of Rockland, formerly of Dorchester and Weymouth, May 14, age 87, Beloved husband of Florence (McCarty) Lydon; Loving father of Mark C. Lydon and wife Kathleen, Susan M. Keenan and husband James, Joseph P. Lydon, Teresa F. Kyller and husband Michael, and Joanne K. Morris; Loving brother of Maureen Courage, Paul Lydon, Rita Dentremont, Marguerite Courage, Kathleen Lydon, and the late Annemarie Foran, Barbara McManus, and James Lydon. Loving son of the late Joseph and Mary Lydon.  Also, survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Mark was an Army WWII and Korean War veteran and retired from Verizon. He loved spending time in Florida and loved his family and faith.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday May 19 at 8am followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am. Visitation Wednesday 4 to 8pm.
