Obituary

On Thursday, April 9, 2020, Martha Pauline Stewart, loving sister and aunt, passed away at the age of 81.

Pauline was born on May 7, 1938 in Ohio, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia, Canada and passed peacefully in the Sachem Center in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Pauline was generous and devoted to her friends and family.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting small and large events at both her home in Roslindale, MA and her summer cottage in Nova Scotia.  Pauline spent her career at Liberty Mutual Insurance and formed life-long friendships with the "Liberty Crew", a gregarious group of ladies who loved to laugh and turned every get-together into a party.

Pauline was the youngest of five children born to Angus and Alice (Bray) Stewart. She will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Sadie (Sally) Malloy and her nieces, nephews and their families.  She is pre-deceased by her brothers Leonard and Joseph (Joe) and her sister Carmel (Carmie).

Her family and friends can be consoled by knowing that Pauline is now in heaven, driving her red Ford Mustang to a card party with a Rusty Nail on ice waiting for her.  We will miss her sense of humor and zest for life.

A Memorial Service will take place at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Sachem Centers Activities Department at 66 Central Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333.
