Mary F. (McCarthy) O'Neil, 95, of Abington, passed away on December 22, 2016. Born October 26th 1921, in Rockland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Nora McCarthy. Secretary to the Superintendent of Avon Public Schools. Avid church volunteer and long time member of Saint Bridget's Parish. Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, and her family. Mary was the beloved wife of the late John J. O'Neil, devoted mother of John O'Neil and his late wife Geraldine O'Neil of New Jersey, Robert O'Neil and his wife Maryann O'Neil of Kingston, and daughter Marijane O'Neil of Kingston. She leaves her beloved grandchildren Luke, Amber, Amanda, John, Patrick, Kelly, Courtney, and Ryan and her ten great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 9am on Tuesday December 27 in St. Bridget Church, Abington. Visitation will be held prior to mass Tuesday in the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington from 7:30am to 8:30am. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland
