Mary J. Venuti passed away peacefully on April 20, 2016. Formerly of Dorchester and Quincy. Mary had three children, Gina Stone of Abington, MA, Maria Stankus of New Orleans, LA, and Richard (Dickie) Stankus. Grandmother of Maxwell Stone and Mother in Law of Bill Stone, both of Abington, MA.  Daughter of the late Maria and Anthony Venuti, and sister of the late Leo Venuti, Billy Venuti, Connie Mantville, Frank Venuti, and Rosemary Pryor.

Mary was a Geriatric Social Worker at the Kit Clark Senior House in Dorchester for many years. She enjoyed traveling and after retiring spent winters in Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton, FL.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams St. Abington, Monday April 25 at 9:30 followed by a funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington 10:30am. Visiting hours Sunday April 24 from 5pm to 7pm. Burial will be at St. Michaels Cemetery in Roslindale.
