Maura Zimmerman (Tobin), of Abington, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at the age of 48, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Weymouth on October 27, 1976, Maura was raised in Marshfield, where she built lifelong friendships and cherished memories. She earned her bachelor's degree from UMASS Dartmouth and went on to build a successful career in the financial services industry, where she dedicated over 25 years with professionalism, integrity, and care for those she worked with.

She was the devoted wife of Eric Zimmerman and the loving mother of Craig and Colin, who were the pride and joy of her life. Maura was the beloved daughter of Kevin Tobin of Somerville and Elizabeth (Byrnes) Tobin of North Reading. She is also survived by her sister, Colleen (Tobin) Regoja, and her husband Igor of Westbrook, Maine, and their children, Maya and Kevin, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her.

Maura's greatest happiness was found in the time she spent with family and friends. She loved summers at Humarock Beach and the family cottage, skiing trips to New Hampshire, and going to concerts with friends. Most of all, she treasured her role as a mother, wife, daughter, and sister.

Her courage, warmth, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Bridget's Church, Abington, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
