Maureen E. Agnew, age 74 (nee, Libby) of Rockland and formerly Dorchester, passed peacefully with her entire family at her bedside on April 2nd at the South Shore Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph G Agnew, Sr. and six children:  Michael Freda of Bridgewater; Deborah, wife of Stephen McGlynn of Abington; Joseph, husband to Carolyn Walsh of Harrisburg, NC; Daniel, husband to Carolynn Thompson of Waltham; Matthew, husband to Cheryl of Whitman; and Thomas, husband to Brenda Ward of Whitman; as well as daughter in law Charlene Agnew of Newton.  Also, survived by 14 grandchildren for whom she lived her life. Maureen loved to cook and travel with her husband, family and friends. She was a great listener but an even better card player and was known to have never turned down a game of Gin Rummy.

Services will be held at Quealy & Sons Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street,  Abington, MA on Thursday, April 6 from 4-8pm, Funeral Mass at St Bridget's Church in Abington at 9:00am on April 7th with burial at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in her name is preferred.
