Michael Alan Gerry, 52, of Whitman, died on April 19, 2011 in the South Shore Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mike was born on November 20, 1958 in Boston.  He was raised and educated in Rockland,  where he was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1976.  He was a resident of Whitman for many years. Beloved husband of Catherine.  Devoted father of Linda and Elizebeth.  Grandfather of Catherine, John and Emily.  Son of Glenn and Linda Gerry of Maine.  Brother of Roy of Whitman and Lynn (Gerry) Muise of Ojai, CA.  Sadly missed and fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers at Globe Rubber Works in Rockland and team-mates of the former Spring Street Bombers softball team. Visitation on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. in the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington.  A Memorial Service will be held at 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be preferred to the Alzheimers Association, a veterans' organization or your favorite charity.
