Michelangelo Francesco Rocco Sannella, 82, (10/11/1938 to 3/11/2021) was born in San Sossio Baronia, Avellino, Italy. He is the son of Giuseppe Sannella and Ida Ciccone Sannella. He came to the United States in 1955 at the age of 17. He worked as an electromechanical assembler/machinist and spent most of his career working for Johnson and Johnson. He married Valeria Baviello in 1973 and they lived together in the town of Abington, MA from 1976 until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Valeria Sannella, daughter Maria Sannella and her fiancé Brian Sullivan, son Joseph Sannella and daughter in law Mallory Sannella, and granddaughters Sofia, Lileigh and Scarlett. He is also survived by his brother Emanuele and sister in law Concetta, sister Teresa, sister in law Alfonsina, sister in law Rina, brother in law Vincenzo, brother in law Francesco, and brother in law Franco. Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home, Abington on Wednesday March 17 from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bridget Church, Abington on Thursday March 18 at 9 am.  Please go directly to church and St. Bridget Church is currently operating at a limited capacity. Interment to follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
