Monica Ruth Guarino, 56, of Abington, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2026 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was born in Brockton, MA on March 25, 1969 and was the beloved daughter of Stephen & Florence Gulski.

Monica ​devoted her life to her family and was a loving wife, mother, and cherished grandmother. She found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved and especially treasured moments together during holidays and family gatherings. She was also deeply devoted to her beloved animals, who were an important part of her life. She lived her life with kindness, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the simple things.

She is survived by her husband Donald Guarino, her children Donald Guarino Jr. & Stephanie Kavanagh, her grandchildren Cameron Kavanagh, Colton Kavanagh & Leo Guarino and extended family members including her siblings Stephen Gulski, Cherylyn Gaudette & Gregory Gulski.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington on Monday February 9th from 4 PM to 7 PM. Funeral home service to be held in the funeral home on Tuesday February 10th at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park.
