Myra Kelleher (Mahon), 80, of Rockland, MA, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at South Shore Hospital.

She was born on August 8, 1944, in Weymouth, MA, and was raised in the town by her loving late parents, Thomas and Mary (Caldwell) Mahon.

Myra is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Kelleher of Rockland; daughter, Theresa Martin of Abington; and son, Edmond Kelleher and his wife Michelle of Rockland. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elaine Kelleher Jardin of New Bedford.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Steven Kelleher, Thomas Martin, Katrina Doherty and her husband Darren, Derek Alves and his wife Sydney, and Jack Kelleher. Additionally, she is survived by her great-grandchildren: Julian, Ayla, Archie, and Oscar.

Myra is survived by her sister, Deborah Yetman and her husband Jay, and her brother, Thomas Mahon. She was predeceased by her brother, Francis Mahon. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, as well as many loving lifelong friends.

Recently retired, Myra enjoyed traveling with family, particularly going on cruises and exploring new places. She loved trying her luck at the casino slot machines and taking in the beautiful scenery at the Plymouth waterfront. Myra found joy in shopping, craft fairs, and bingo. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.

The family of Myra Kelleher will be hosting a celebration of life on Saturday March 15, 2025 from 1-5 pm at the Knights of Columbus located at 254 Hancock St Abington, MA 02351. All family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Myra's memory.
