Pamela J. "Pam" Horgan

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela J. "Pam" Horgan, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 14, 2026, following a lifetime of health challenges, particularly Type 1 diabetes.

Pam was the beloved daughter of Marge (Duncan) Horgan and Paul "Dick" Horgan, and the cherished sister of Anne (Horgan) Ridings of Sarasota, Florida. She was a proud and loving aunt to her two nieces and will be dearly missed by her many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Pam was a kind and gentle soul whose quiet nature was complemented by her deep love for family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her large family, sharing laughter during nights out, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Pam was also a devoted and caring babysitter to many children throughout the years, and her warmth and patience left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A graduate of Abington High School, Pam was an active member of the high school band, where she played the clarinet. Despite being profoundly deaf, she never viewed her hearing loss as an obstacle. Through her determination and love of music, she excelled as a musician and found great encouragement from band director Paul Smith, whose support and belief in his students helped inspire her throughout her school years.

Pam's strength, resilience, kindness, and love for others will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pam's memory to the American Diabetes Association.

Services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
