Patricia Ann (Olsen) MacNeill, of Abington, passed away on Monday December 5, 2022, at the age of 83,  surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on March 28, 1939 and was the daughter of the late David W and Gladys (Blair) Olsen. Pat was born and raised in Cambridge, MA until she moved to Abington in 1964. She is predeceased by her late husband James S. MacNeill. Pat was sarcastic to the end, you always knew where you stood with her. She could always be found supporting her grandchildren at sports games or school activities. She was dedicated to her family who were her greatest joy in life. She loved going on family trips and attending gatherings with her family. Pat was the loving mother to Marion L. Zulon and her husband Michael of East Bridgewater, and Denice M. Hatch and her husband Richard of Brockton. Pat was known to everyone as "Grammy" she  leaves her grandchildren who she adored more than anything. Richard Hatch III and his wife Kayla of Bellingham, James Hatch and his wife Ashley of Brockton, Katherine Denton and her husband Bryan of Providence, RI, Meghan, Melissa, and Makayla Zulon all of East Bridgewater. Grammy was the great-grandmother to  Emily, Madelyn and Jackson Hatch of Brockton and Madison Denton of Providence, RI. Pat was also the loving sister in law to Lorraine F Olsen of Nashua, NH and late brother David H. Olsen.She will be missed by all including many nieces and nephews and cousins. When Pat moved to Abington she became a member of United Church of Christ in Abington assisting with the woman's fellowship and an active diaconate.  She was an avid member of the Gems Bowling League for over 50 years. Was a long time girl scout leader and great librarian at the Center School in Abington. Grammy was always a part of her children's activities including Abington youth soccer and was on the Abington band boosters while her daughters were in high school. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Sunday December 11 from 3 to 6pm. Funeral Service will held Monday December 12 in the United Church of Christ, 10 Bedford Street, Abington at 10am. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
