Paula Johnston of Abington passed away peacefully December 15, 2023 at the age of 76.  Loving wife of Robert Johnston of Abington; Devoted mother of Kimberly Johnston of Abington, Robert Johnston and wife Marlaina Johnston of Lynn, Jessica Murphy and husband Jason Murphy of Hingham, and Kaitlyn McGary and husband Lucas McGary of Milton; Beloved grandmother of Finola, Rowan, Harper, Colm, Carson, Gavin, Camryn and James; Sister of Robert Murray of Hingham, Steve Murray and wife Deb of South Dakota, John Murray and wife Pam of South Dakota and the late Maryjane Murray; Loving daughter of the late Robert and Marian Murray; Also, survived by several nieces and nephews. Paula grew up in Wollaston and graduated from North Quincy High School. She was a travel agent for years before getting married. Before Paula got sick, she enjoyed volunteering at St Bridget's School, renting a beach house every summer, was an avid painter and enjoyed sewing her daughters Irish step dancing dresses. Paula loved spending time with her eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy and Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Tuesday December 19 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral mass Wednesday at St. Bridget Church, Abington 10:30am. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Paula to: Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011
