Peter J. Loughman Sr. of Abington passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 95. Born in Boston in February 1926. He proudly served his Country during WWII as a Navy Signalman on the LST 670. Pete worked as a machinist and retired from Grant Gear Works in South Boston. After moving to Abington he became a member of the VFW and the Knights of Columbus where he served as a Grand Knight. Pete was pre-deceased by his wife Patricia (Shea) of Abington and devoted father to Peter Loughman, Jr. (Carol) of Bourne, Robin Loughman, Patricia Loughman, Pamela Maynard, (Tim) of Abington and Robert Loughman (Kathy) of New York. Lovingly Grampy to: Tracey, Robbie, Jillian; Peter III, Christopher; Jennifer, Bobby, Daniel; Abby and Colin. Great Grampy to: Jocelyn, Wayne, Vivi; Henry, Charlotte, Maggie and Sam.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Monday AUGUST 2 from 4 to 7pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday AUGUST 3 at 11am.
