Phyllis Poirier passed away peacefully on her birthday July 14, 2022.This was so her! Phyllis was born in Beverly, MA on July 14, 1936. She grew up in Hamilton, MA and after marrying the love of her life Robert Poirier they moved to Ipswich and then Quincy, finally settling in Abington.

Over the years Phyllis worked in the restaurant industry at the Hollow in Quincy, the Alamo in Abington, and Bob's Coffee Shop in Weymouth where she became the well-known "Egg Lady." Phyllis loved to talk to people and made many friends. She and dad enjoyed their bowling league, Saturday night card games, dancing at the Brdigeway and man trips throughout their lives. They never let us kids miss a family summer vacation to Maine or New Hampshire as their family was very important to them.

Phyllis and dad were lucky to live out their retirement years in Port Charlotte, Florida. A place that she loved and would tell everyone she felt like she was living on a vacation.

After dad passed away Phyllis was living at Benchmark for Senior Living in Plymouth where she received incredible care from the loving staff there.

Phyllis is survived by her son Dean R. Poirier and his wife Deann of Mount Olive, North Carolina, as well as her daughter's Lori Fulton of Brockton and Robin McNamee and her husband William of Dennis. She also leaved behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
