Phyllis J. Sydell of Brockton, July 15, age 76.  Loving daughter of the late Jeremiah and Ella Menenello; Loving wife of the late Robert W. Sydell; Loving mother of Joan Hanley and husband Mark of Abington, Ethel "Mae" Curran and husband Michael of Whitman, Elaine Greig and husband James of FL, Roberta Flynn and husband Jerry of Brockton, and Irene Fraser and husband Thomas of Maynard; Loving sister of William Menenello, Louise Isley and the late Albert Menenello.  Also, survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Phyllis was loved by many and is remembered most for her devotion to her husband and family as well as her love for God and her Catholic faith.  She was a creative person enjoying crafts, crocheting, baking, reading and gardening.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought joy to her heart.  She loved Christmas, singing, feeding the birds and showing her patriotism.

Funeral from the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday July 21 at 8am followed by a funeral mass St. Bridget Church, Abington 9am.  Visitation Wednesday 4 to 7pm.  Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne, 12:45pm.  In lieu of Flowers: St. Vincent De Paul, 455 Plymouth St., Abington 02351 or Operation Flags for Veterans, 408 Center St., Raynham, MA 02767
