Regina A. McGann of Whitman, died on January 17 at the age of 68.  She was the loving mother of Katharine R. McGann of Whitman.  She leaves behind her siblings, Peter, Philip, Thomas, John McGann, and the late Mark McGann.

Gina graduated from San Gabriel Mission High School in CA and Pasadena City College Nursing School.  A few years later, she graduated with her Bachelor's degree in anthropology from Cal State University in Los Angeles.

She worked as a registered nurse in the ICU and Cardiac Units at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Verdugo Hills Hospital in CA.  Gina loved hiking, skiing, sailing, photography, and she was a licensed private pilot.   She had an adventurous spirit that took her backpacking across Europe and to Hawaii and Tahiti.  Many of her hiking trips were on the John Muir trail in the Sierra Nevada mountains.  She kept in touch with her high school classmates and nursing classmates and planned many reunions.

She is loved and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Friday January 22 from 4 to 6pm, followed by a memorial service at 6pm.
