Richard "Dick" Hurley of Abington passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 66, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Jack and Geraldine Hurley. Loving father of Theresa Dickey & her husband Ryan Dickey, and of Carolann Hurley. Grandfather of Theodore Dickey. Brother of Jeryl Brown, Jack Hurley and his wife Crystal, and Susan Geezil. Longtime boyfriend of Shelley Kurtz Coletti. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick was born on January 31, 1957, was raised in Weymouth, and lived in Abington for many years, where he raised his family. He was retired from Jackson Sales, where he had spent his entire career. He loved spending time with his friends and family, animals, listening to music, traveling, and riding on his motorcycle.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington on Thursday December 14 from 4pm to 6pm, followed by a service in the funeral home at 6pm. Reception to follow funeral serivce.
