Richard Meier, 74, passed away on October 17, 2016. Richard was born in Springfield, MA and was a long time resident of Abington, MA. He is predeceased by his first wife Susan.  He is survived by his wife Martha McGoldrick, brother Carl and sister Marilyn and his children from a blended family Tracy, Jessica, Cory and Heather, Lisa and Mark. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Kate, Jackson, Elizabeth, John, Blake, Jacob, Casey and Emmett. Richard was known for his wonderful smile, incredible business acumen and his deep love for his family, friends and country.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home, 116 Adams Street, Abington Thursday October 20 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am in the United Church of Christ, 10 Bedford Street, Abington.
