Richard H. Murray of Easton formerly of Abington, February 28, age 86, Loving husband of Phyllis (Spooner) Murray of Easton and his first wife the late Margaret (Ronan) Murray; Loving father of Judith Smith and husband Peter of Medway, Joe and wife Arnie of Abington, Kevin and wife Susan of NJ, Edward and wife Renee of TN, and Jeanne Bolton and husband Peter of NH; Loving step father of Cindi Watson and husband Glenn of NH, Susan Curran of Abington, and Laura Johnson and husband Bob of NJ; Loving brother of Marilyn Derby of Hanson, Craig Murray of Taunton, Bettelou Puopolo of Monument Beach, and the late Rosemary Moran, Dr. Robert Murray, and Lois Perkins; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews

Richard was the former Abington Wire Inspector and South Shore Vo-Tech electrical instructor from 1964-1968. He was a member of the IBEW Local 223 for 55 years, former President of St. Bridget Holy Name Society, former President of St. Bridget School PTO, former Trustee of South Shore Science Center, Norwell, and editor for the National Fire Protection Agency retiring in 1995.

Visitation at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Wednesday March 2 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral mass in St. Bridget Church, Abington Thursday 9am.
