Robert A. Bruce, age 56, of Whitman, died suddenly on May 6. Robert is survived by Amanda Bruce and his daughter Lauren Bruce; Son of the late Edward Bruce and Rose M. Nelson; Step-son of Theodore "Ted" Nelson; Brother of Edward Bruce and wife Deanna, Rose-Marie Caissie, and the late Joseph Bruce; Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Robert was employed at UPS for 31 years, was an avid sports fan, and loved to fish. A funeral mass welcoming all, will be held Saturday May 10 at 9am at St. Bridget Church, 455 Plymouth St., Abington. Per family request, visitation will be kept private. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross.
