Robin
Carlsen
November 25, 1952 – December 20, 2025
Robin M. (Marie) Carlsen, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Rockland, Massachusetts.
Born on November 25, 1952, in New Bedford, Robin was the beloved daughter of Hazel Carlsen (Ward) and Robert Carlsen. She lived a life centered on family, care, and community.
Robin worked for many years as a school bus driver and waitress, careers that perfectly reflected her caring nature and strong work ethic. She was known for her kindness, reliability, and the genuine connections she made with those around her.
Robin had a deep love for cooking and could most often be found in the kitchen, creating new recipes to share with friends and family. Making sure everyone was fed and felt welcome brought her great joy. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and good food.
For 30 years, Robin shared her life with her devoted partner, Theodore Greenlaw. They lived together in Rockland after meeting in Fairhaven, where their shared love of sailing led to many joyful summers on the water. Robin also loved dogs and cherished going on walks with friends and their pets. She cared for many dogs throughout her life, but her and Ted's beloved dog Gus held a particularly special place in her heart.
Robin is survived by her son Shane Dupont, daughter-in-law Lisa Dupont, and her cherished grandchildren Owen and Emily Dupont. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Clark, brother Nicolas Carlsen, and nephew Andy Clark, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington on Friday January 2, 2026 at 11 AM.
