Roger J. Becker, age 64, of Abington, passed away on March 11, 2026.
Born in Michigan on March 2, 1962, Roger was the beloved son of Patricia (Andrews) and the late Eugene Becker. He was raised with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, later becoming the owner of a staffing solutions business.
In his early years, Roger was a Master Counselor, Order of De Molay in Waltham. Roger was a graduate of Waltham High School and built a life centered around family and community. He was especially proud of his daughters and could often be found cheering them on at their sporting events. Roger was actively involved in Abington Youth Softball and loved watching Maggie and Victoria compete in softball, soccer, and gymnastics. A dedicated soccer player and coach for many years in Waltham. Roger also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and spending time with his beloved dogs, Maylee and Teddy.
Roger is survived by his loving daughters, Maggie Becker-Gacek and her husband Daniel Gacek, and Victoria Becker, and by their mother, Tracy Becker. He is also survived by his mother Patricia Andrews and stepfather Kenneth Andrews, his brother Mitchell Becker, his sister Cynthia Zdeb and her husband Bill Zdeb, his brother Ken Andrews and his partner Chris Anderson, and his brother Lance Becker, along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
He was predeceased by his father, Eugene.
A visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street Abington, MA on Monday March 16, 2026 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
