Ruby Melissa (Dean) McIver of Abington entered into eternal rest on Monday Dec. 14, 2015 at 91 years old. Beloved wife of the late Leo McIver; Devoted mother of Kathleen Peterson McIver and husband Jeff, Karen Whitman, Scott McIver and wife Lee, Stephen McIver, and Christopher McIver; Adored grandmother of Melissa Whitman, Bryan McIver, Jason Whitman, Meghan McIver, and Jacob McIver; Loving great grandmother of Devin Evans and Liliana Greene; Loving sister of Doris Gobeille, Vinal Dean, Dale Dean, and Billy Dean;

Ruby was a great mother and just a wonderful person to be around. She will be missed and always remembered.

A funeral service will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington Monday Dec. 21 at 11am. Visitation Sunday 2 to 5pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rockland at a later date.
