Ruth A. (Hawkins) Gorham returned home to the Lord on June 1, 2023. Ruth was born and raised in Scarsdale, NY. She met her husband John, on Cape Cod and moved to Massachusetts where she was a long time resident of Quincy and Abington. She also resided in Englewood, FL. Ruth was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters Eileen Kurowski and her husband Michael of Abington, Maureen Hasson and her husband William of Plymouth, MA and Delray Beach, FL. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren Timothy and Carissa Kurowski, Brian and Melissa Kurowski, Olivia Kurowski and Zach Martin,  Scott Jansen, Cole Jansen, Brooke Earl and Jonathan Earl. She is also survived by her great granddaughter Eliana Kurowski. Ruth was also the loving mother of the late Theresa Gorham-Earl. She also leaves behind her brother Edward Hawkins of Fort Myers, FL. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Ruth was the daughter of the late William and Kathleen Hawkins and was predeceased by her siblings Patricia Lafferty, Margaret Kelly, William Hawkins, Walter Hawkins, Catherine MacAdam, Susan Kosche, Sally Hawkins, Robert Hawkins, and Peter Hawkins. Ruth was a long time volunteer with the American Cancer Society, and was always the first one to offer her help and support to anyone in need. She had the biggest heart. The family would like to thank all of the friends and family who have supported us through this difficult journey. We especially thank the beautiful staff at The Pat Roche Hospice Home for their love and care. A Visitation will be held at Quealy & Son Funeral Home on Monday June 5, from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.  Followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St Bridget's Abington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery Rockland.
