Salvatore "Sal" Briguglio of Rockland, May 29, 2017, age 85, Devoted companion of Dorothy M. Laird for many years; Loving father of Salvatore F. of NH and Rachel Dailey of TX;  Loving brother of Josephine Lichtenstein; Also, survived by 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Sal was an U.S. Army Veteran. He graduated from Medford High School, Boston Trade Shop, and Northeastern University. Sal participated in the design and development of small scientific astronomical payloads for manned spacecraft and unmanned spacecraft while employed by American Science and Engineering for 25 years.  He was also involved in the development of Cat Scanners, Personnel Scanners, and Baggage Inspection Systems.

Visitation will be held at the Quealy & Son Funeral Home 116 Adams Street, Abington on Friday June 2 from 11am to 12pm, followed by a funeral service at noon.
