Scott John Aikens, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Abington, MA, passed away on March 17, 2025. Born in Quincy, MA, on November 5, 1957, Scott was the beloved son of the late Walter and Mary (McSwan) Aikens.
Scott was a graduate of Abington High School, Scott spent many years working as a forklift operator. He had a deep love for wrestling, all things Disney, and cheering on New England sports teams—especially his beloved Boston Red Sox. Scott also found great joy in tending to his vegetable garden and took immense pride in his homegrown harvests.
Above all, Scott cherished time spent with family, especially during the holidays. He is survived by his brother, Walter Jeffrey Aikens and his wife Connie, and his sister, Lynne P. Rowley. He was a devoted uncle to Jerry Aikens, Jacqueline Tucker, Ariana Aikens, and Brianna Aikens, Eric and Melissa Greenwood, Michael and Erica Aikens, Matthew Aikens & Christin Aikens, as well as a loving cousin to many.
Scott's warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Hill Cemetery 700 West Street Braintree on Friday March 28 at 11 AM.
