Sheila A.
Burke
August 18, 1937 – January 28, 2025
Sheila Ann (O'Brien) Burke passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 28, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse, Sheila lived a life of compassion, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
Born to Arthur and Rita O'Brien, Sheila was the last surviving child of their loving family. She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur, Paul, and John, and her sisters Rita, Lea, Kathleen, and Mary Kate.

Sheila is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Thomas Burke, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised seven children, who were the pride and joy of her life: Thomas and Kelly Burke of Hanover, MA; Kristan and Robert Sturtevant of East Bridgewater, MA; Matthew Burke and Dr. Catherine Ford of Stamford, CT; Suzanne Burke of Tampa, FL ; John and Marianne Burke of Melrose, MA; James Burke of Jamestown, RI; and Daniel Burke of Brooklyn, NY.
